Mango Chutney (Manga Chamanthi)

Ingredients:

Green Mango – 1 cup skinned (roughly chopped)

Grated coconut – 1 cup

Green chillies – 4-5 (roughly chopped)

Shallots (small onion) – 1/2 cup (roughly chopped)

Ginger – 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Lime juice – 2 tablespoon (if mango isn’t sour)

Salt – to taste

How to:

Crush green mango, green chillies and shallots in a grinder.

Next add the grated coconut and salt and grind to a coarse/smooth paste (which ever you prefer)

Add 2 tablespoons of lime juice if isn’t sour enough.

Serve with rice or uzhunnu vada.
